Externally, a palette of earthy materials and a striking 45-degree roof pitch anchor the home to its surroundings. Locally sourced Honey Granite stone is used to great effect, complemented by Lysaght iron cladding and an Enseam roof that introduces a subtle industrial edge. Traditional farmhouse detailing, including half-round gutters, adds further character and balance.
A ‘C’-shaped floorplan forms the foundation of the design, creating a central courtyard that acts as the heart of the home, with guest and master wings positioned at either end and connected by an expansive open-plan living zone. The home features an extensive undercover entertaining area complete with integrated screens, an outdoor fireplace and a dramatic 25-metre lap pool that extends outward from the hillside.
